Fall Fest!

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

Tomorrow after church we go to Fall Fest up at Sky Lake (woo hoo!). Make sure you bring a pair of sneakers and a sweatshirt, and some money if you would like to donate to the campership fund or bid in the silent auction.

See you tomorrow!

(Remember, we’re voting on the Christmas play tomorrow during Sunday school.)

Hey Cruisers!

We’ll be doing the Christmas play on Sunday December 16, followed by our meatball sub lunch.  The entire service is ours that day, so we’ll have to meet with Pastor Nick about the worship, but we can do that a little later.

Your president and vice president (Sara and Lauren) have narrowed it down to two choices for you to vote on: “If Angels were Mortal” and “The Christmas Competition.”  Here are the links to the description of both:

You have until Sunday school on September 30th to decide.  Practices will begin in October!

Church Has Left the Building

Church Has Left the Building LogoDid you know that the youth inspired this program? When you all came back from the Bowery Mission in NYC, the adults at Park Terrace started asking to do missions projects of their own. So, we came up with the crazy idea: We’ll cancel church on September 23rd, and send 100 people out into our community to do 15 different mission projects. Have you signed up yet? Be sure to check out the page at http://www.parkterraceumc.org/thechurchhasleftthebuilding.htm

Have you signed up yet?

Remember, you can invite a friend to come along too. All of the project info is on the site, including the downloadable versions of the registration and permission forms.

We need everyone to participate if we’re going to reach our goal.
