Dance, Dance, Dance!! :)
We all know our Youth Group loves to dance and we are all AMAZING dancers so we thought, why not have a a couple hours to do just that? So thats what a few members decided to plan, a Youth Group dance  Heres some info:Â
When: THIS FRIDAY DECEMBER 1st Where: Youth Room Time: 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. What to Bring: $2.00 for pizza, something to eat, a happy attitude, and your dancing shoes!  We decided that since there was a little incident at the Halloween party, if someone starting fighting with someone else, you can call your parents to take you home because you know my motto, Violence Isn’t The Answer. Were going to try the phone tree to get this information out also. **Since this ends at 8:00 and we do so much other things in this church, if you would like, you can join the other dance thats going on upstairs at 8:00, It would be a very nice gesture :)** If you have any questions or can’t make it, just call me, Sara |

This sounds like a really FUN idea–but make sure you have both a female and a male chaperone who can be there at 5:00 (for example, Stacy works until 5:00 and may not be able to make it until 5:30).
In order for this to be an official youth group event, an adult male needs to join Stacy in her chaperonage. It’s one of those crazy keep-the-youth-safe-always rules.
So try to find a male chaperone, and maybe push the time back a half-hour. And I know the church would love to have you dance at their dance too (it’ll probably get people out of their seats!) That’s another super idea.
